50 years of the Beechview Library: Mary Koller

On October 7, 2017, the Carnegie Library of Beechview will be celebrating 50 years serving the community.

Mary Koller chats with us about her love for the libraries and her thoughts on the Beechview branch, how important is reading.  Mary discusses how important the library renovation has been for the neighborhood in becoming an even more welcoming environment.

Sorgatron Media has teamed up with the Beechview Historical Society to find the stories about the building’s history.  If you have any stories or pictures from the library’s past, please come to one of our events listed on the Beechview Historical Society and Sorgatron Media Facebook pages.
