I was going to do the whole chachi mays thing again but thats so yesterday.
Game 28: The Sims 3.
There are some things about this book that im not starting to like as i go through and play the game. I realize that with out the first of a game in a series the sequels would not have been possible. However filling up 2 slots with 2 games from the same series seems wrong to me. There are games that couldve gone into those slots, But i didnt write the book, i’s just a guy playing some games. So today we have…. The Sims 3!
Usually in games, and Movies and such, the sequels are never actually any good, but with this game that is untrue.
We are going to skip most of the details on game play. I covered that in the last post.
New stuff for this game: Story progression: if you want the world can continue without you. Meaning you log out and the world keeps going.
You can create bigger houses, and even cities.
You can travel with your sim to explore the world you live in. Some buildings are not accessible but this is a huge improvement where the sim left and you watched an empty house. This brings a whole new aspects, where as before only what you did at home mattered. Now anything you do any where in the world affects the game.
You are able to buy cars, the computer drives them but your sim can.
Chachi Says: This game is what a sequel to a game should be. The original with well working, well needed upgrades.
