You know what happens when extremely talented super nerds go to college and get bored?

Rogue happens. Starting out in college unix systems, the game took off. The game contains infinite variety of dungeons that are randomly generated, the unlikey goal of the game, find the amulet of yendor that is placed somewhere around or after level 25.

There is no real story, players get minimum information, to the point where if you drink a potion you dont know what it is until you down it. Anything from to strength to blindness awaits in those bottles. Oh, and did i mention its a dungeon? thats right, which means you also have to fight monsters.

there is no set map, you find out as you go. oh right you have to eat also or you die. Avoid death to find the amulet and win the game. failure to do this and you probably die. or get lost. which leads to death.

Chachi Says: chances are youre gonna die in this game alot. i would offer you advice but i have none to give. careful planning and second thinking your decisions are your best bets.
