So while playing and blogging about these games i realized that something was missing…. couldnt put my finger on it.
Well after discussion with Twitter and Sorg(my partner in crime) we have decided the following scale! you will see one of the following pictures at the bottom of every post.(i will get caught up on the ones i missed slowly.)
So i will be ranking these games on a scale system of 1-5. 1 being one of the worse games ever made. 5 being the greatest.
As you saw each number is represented by a game from history.
Here is my explanation:
1: E.t. – one of if not the worst game ever created. for the amount of money spent and the hype. It was a bomb.
2. TMNT – This was one of those games that you had so much hope for and wanted it to be amazing. Only to play it and be like WTF.
3. Street Fighter 2 – chances are you have clocked 50 or more hours over the life of this game in play time. Chances are it was semi-enjoyable depending on who you played with. however this was not your first choice of games to play. You shrugged you put it in, and you played. Not bad, just not that great.
4. Doom- This game was a blast to play, lan parties were set up because of games like Doom. You had a blast eliminating all challengers with a variety of weapons. but after a while you just got bored with it. You could go through the trouble of using mods, but then they wouldnt work unless everyone else had them. Close but not quite there.
5. Legend of Zelda – this is by far my favorite game of all time. therefore it has the 5 spot. This game is innovating included a battery so it could hold save games, is as equally challenging the next time you pick it up as it was the first time you pick it up. This is the game of games.
