Wrestling Mayhem Show 187: Jimmy Snuka Would Make a Great Riot Officer

WMS187_HutchpuckertimeThe Mayhem is in force!  First, we get a visit from the brotherly duo from Burghseyeview (from Pittsburgh)and Pucker Time Radio (from Washington State) to talk about the good ol’ days of Studio Wrestling and life in Pittsburgh.  Then we tackle emails and get voicemails all night from our new Mayhem Hotline!  We get a chance to talk to the WWE Hall of Fameer Superfly Jimmy Snuka about his career, what his son is up to, his upcoming reality project, and his appearing this Saturday at IWC Clearfield Cataclysm.  Then, we’re joined by Mayhem Missie and Doc Remedy in studio, fresh from their trip to New York City to catch the Ring of Honor show, and the last appearances of Bryan Danials and Nigel McGuinness before heading to WWE.  We talk about Hell in a Cell, Al Sharpton, Ben Roethlisberger, why Batista is a dick, and weigh in on the G20 happening all around us last week in Pittsburgh.

WMS187_MissieRemedyNote:  In the course of fixing up and updating our studio, we managed to knock something out of alignment this week, and apologize for the sound quality of this show.  We will be going over every inch of the studio and fixing the problem before the next episode.  Can’t win ‘em all…

WWE Legend Superfly Jimmy Snuka on the Wrestling Mayhem Show this week!
Pittsburgh, PA  September 27, 2009  ~ For the first time, the Wrestling Mayhem Crew welcomes a WWE Hall of Famer in Superfly Jimmy Snuka when we talk to him this week on episode 187!  Sorg has a chance to speak with Jimmy and ask fan questions about his start, the famous cage dive in Madison Square Garden, what his son, Sim Snuka AKA “Duece” has been up to since leaving WWE.  Snuka also has a chance to talk about his upcoming appearance on October 3 in Clearfield, PA at International Wrestling Cartel’s Clearfield Cataclysm where he’s set to take on Cleveland’s own J-Rocc.  (More can be found on that event at IWCWrestling.com.)
The Wrestling Mayhem Show debuted as a podcast on January, 2006, and has amassed over 150 episodes in almost 4 years of production.  The Wrestling Mayhem Show is an irreverent, no holds barred show, where the hosts discuss and have fun with the world of wrestling, from WWE, TNA and indy organizations.  The hosts, Lunchbox, Doc Remedy, Mayhem Missie, Sorg and a host of other fans who join the conversation via phone and chat room, are avid fans that genuinely love and respect the business they cover.  The Wrestling Mayhem Show has been recognized in speaking at Podcasting events such as Podcamp Pittsburgh in November 2006, August 2007, and October 2008, as well as Bootcamp Pittsburgh in April 2007.  Past interviews include such stars as TNA’s Eric Young and former WWE Stars, Brent Albright, and Shawn Daivari, as well as many Indy performers.

For a good time, call….

So, as many know from following our Twitter feed.  (you’re all following it, right?) we have established a brand new, official, voicemail hotline for all you listeners.

412-206-WMS0

412-206-9670

So now we have it.  What should we, or you, the listener, do with it?

Call anytime, everytime.

Call anytime, everytime.

Suggestion 1:  Stick it in your phone. Put it in your contact list on your phone.  That way, if you’re a live show, be it indy, a WWE taping, or your grandma’s BBQ, and you just saw something so fucked up you have to tell someone,  tell us! Or if you’re walking downtown and run into Shane Douglas at your local Subway, why not request an interview on the spot and do it to the hotline?

Suggestion 2: Tell us how much we suck. Ok, you don’t have to be that harsh, but seriously, give us some feedback!   Tell us what you liked and didn’t like.  Bitch us out for hating on Triple H or John Cena.  Tell us why we’re wrong and TNA is the greatest promotion on the planet.

Suggestion 3: Be creative. The better the call, the more likely we’ll play it.  Make it your own!

Celebrate Chachi Day

Chachi ponders the elves that made his beer...

It’s the day to celebrate everyone’s favorite Twitter protagonist, @chachisays of ChachiSays.com as he celebrates his birthday. As my longtime friend, I thought I’d inform everyone on how they can show their appreciation.

  • No Pants Status: This is a concept that Chachi has championed to the online people for ages. So take some time. Loose your pants. Sit and watch the news, a movie, or do your freelance work. And Twitter your verdict. It could change your life…
  • Watch some Chachi: We all know that Chachi bears no resemblance to Scott Baio, but we can still celebrate by watching his name sake in action with some Happy Days or Joanie Loves Chachior just go watch this instead.
  • Find out what Chachi Says: Go. Read his blog. Follow him on Twitter. It may also change your life. But less so than the pants thing…
  • Listen to Chachi Appreciation Night: Several of us are planning to celebrate Chachi Appreciation Night, as we did the highly successful Kane Appreciation Night several months ago, we’re bring a Chachi to the studio and going to have some fun. Who knows what’ll happen. So join us live in the Ustream room, Talkshoe, or make sure to download episode 185. Check it all at WrestlingMayhemShow.com.

Should I Wrestle That: A Response

So, this isn’t a true “Should I Wrestle That” segment, but if you recall, there was a certain piece shot last year at the Jamestown Fair.  For those that missed it:

Well, that kid pulled me aside and spoke up….
