Unsung 31: Live from the Hill!

In this edition, the kids take over as we come to you Live From the Hill with interviews with Pittsburgh Steeler Charlie Batch, his wife LaTasha Wilson-Batch about the Best of the Batch Foundation, Grammy winning artists in Terri Lyne Carrington, Geri Allen, and Esperanza Spalding, Pittsburgh Police Brenda Tate, and Kelly-Strayhorn Theater Executive Director Janera Solomon.  We also take a look at the latest internet craze as Mr Rogers gets auto-tuned.  We also touch on the latest from PublicSource.org, the Carnegie Science Center, and what’s happening this Summer at Market Square, the Toonseum, and South Park.

“Unsung” is PittsburghOnVideo.org‘s first original programming developed exclusively for the site, made possible by The Pittsburgh Foundation. A big thanks to Mangtoons for the intro as well as Pittsburgh native artist Basick Sickness for contributing the theme track to the show. Please check out what they have going on at their respective sites. New episodes of Unsung are posted every two weeks on PittsburghOnVideo.org and SorgatronMedia.com, as well as extended interviews that didn’t make it into the show in our Unsung Uncut videos!
